Kayla was absolutely amazing to work with. She was patient, understanding and most importantly up for any adventure. We chose Kayla specifically because she specializes in elopements and her expertise did not disappoint. We are not used to being photographed and did not want to be put in cheesy poses. Kayla presented us with exercises instead of poses and the results were stunning. Kayla did such an amazing job, capturing every detail and special moment. Kayla took our elopement photos in Mammoth and they came out so perfectly. We were able to arrange everything remotely and she was so responsive and helpful. She truly took the time to get to know us and our (my) vision for the day and the photos came out exactly as I hoped. And I mean that in the truest sense of the word.
I desire to be completely transparent with you from our first interaction because having a connection with your photographer is something that should never be overlooked. It’s important to me that I capture what’s important to you, so I believe in honest conversations about what you’re looking for, sharing some ideas of what I could have planned, and then working together to make your dreams come true.
As a Wilderness First Responder (WFR), know that I also literally have your safety covered wherever our adventure takes us!

The whole focus on your day will be based on what YOU want to do, how YOU want to spend your day and making sure that YOU are STRESS free.
As stress free as a day chilling at home.
Because that’s how a wedding day should feel, intentional and perfectly reflective of who you are.
When we shoot together, we’ll be enjoying beautiful sights and scenery. My goal is to help create an experience that will bring joy and excitement, while respecting and preserving the beauty of nature.
It’s so important to me that we take care of the wild earth as we explore it which is why I follow the Leave No Trace Principles!
The thing is, you already know your favorite ways to hold your partner, who walks faster than the other, or who hates or loves forehead kisses. Since I believe so deeply in authenticity, I believe in capturing moments that perfectly reflect the two of you.
So, this means I don’t “pose” per se.
I prompt.
Which basically means I help to create an environment where you feel free to be the most candid versions of yourselves by asking questions and ditching anything that you don’t naturally do in your relationship.
