I’m an adventure elopement and intimate wedding photographer based in Mammoth Lakes, California. Having lived in the Sierra Nevada mountains for a combined 20 years, my knowledge, expertise and passion for a wide variety of outdoor activities will come together to create your most individualized and intentional day.

Kayla was absolutely amazing to work with. She was patient, understanding and most importantly up for any adventure. Kayla took our elopement photos in Mammoth and they came out so perfectly. We were able to arrange everything remotely and she was so responsive and helpful. This might sound cliché, but I’d honestly describe my style to be authentic. And I mean that in the truest sense of the word. I desire to be completely transparent with you from our first interaction because having a connection with your photographer is something that should never be overlooked. It’s important to me that I capture what’s important to you, so I believe in honest conversations about what you’re looking for, sharing some ideas of what I could have planned, and then working together to make your dreams come true. At the end of the day, the type of subject matter I’m capturing is so unique, my style for that day tends to reflect the style of my couples.
It is so important to me to keep things simple and true to you. We’re focusing on your love story, and that’s the priority when it comes to photography and to the flow of the elopement day. Weddings are wonderful celebrations, but they can also come with a lot of outside emotions and opinions. As someone who has seen other couples be overwhelmed by external factors, it’s my heart’s desire to make your day about you.
When we shoot together, we’ll be enjoying beautiful sights and scenery. My goal is to help create an experience that will bring joy and excitement, while respecting and preserving the beauty of nature. It’s so important to me that we take care of the wild earth as we explore it.
I believe in doing my best to capture your true identity as a couple, which is why I don’t believe in managing interactions or forcing poses. You already know how to hold hands, kiss, dance, you don’t need me to tell you any of that, but I’m happy to provide suggestions at your request to help ease you into it all! The day of, I’ll be there to reassure you that you already know what you’re doing, encourage you to focus on one another, and keep the good vibes going.
