I'm Kayla.
As someone who grew up in the Sequoia National Park (yes, the National Park) and currently resides in Mammoth Lakes CA, I have had over 20 years of outdoor & backcountry experience.
10 of which I have spent capturing people’s love stories in some of the most insane locations.
Having grown up in a town of 350 people and no cell service, it definitely shaped me to appreciate the uninterrupted moments in life.
I guess you could say that developed my knack for the untraditional.
Which brings me to you. Odds are if you’re still reading this, you might have a knack for the untraditional too.

Nope! That is what I am here for. You can have absolutely 0 idea where you want to say your vows and through a series of questions and getting to know you guys, I’ll help you choose your perfect spot.
Through chatting on the phone, and answering some questionnaires, I’ll be able to location scout and give you options based on what you guys are dreaming up.
The permitting process can be very different from place to place. But always, always, do your research and make sure you have the right permits if they’re needed. Here in the Eastern Sierra, the permitting process is quite easy in most areas, but not to worry, I’ll help you through the whole thing. From contact emails to email templates, I’ll make sure you’re set for the elopement permitting process!
Absolutely! Whether it be a two day elopement (one day with the friends/family and one day without) or reading letters from your family and friends on your wedding day, I’ll work with you guys to find the best way to keep them involved.
